As we have been learning about the Nativity story in our Advent Assemblies, I wanted the pupils to do some digital art and create their own Nativity Scene. To take this further, we decided to create them as 360 images and then use an app to immerse ourselves into our own artwork.

In the previous idea I shared a consumer app to create special effects in your classroom. In this idea, I show a more creative way using Greenscreen. This idea can easily be adapted to so many other ideas and the CCTV idea at the end can lead to some amazing inspired writing opportunities.

This app has some in-app purchases and is NOT SUITABLE for pupils devices. On a teacher's device, it can create some great little effects that can inspire some great creative writing.

Here is the last idea in this series inspired by the latest John Lewis Advert. In this idea, we look at how pupils can perform their writing to give a fantastic final product to this unit. The example I share came from work we did inspired by 'The Boy Who Grew Dragons' by Andy Shephard. I also discuss how the power of the internet allowed our pupils to get amazing feedback from the author.
Taking the consumer app from idea 16, this idea looks at how pupils can develop their descriptive language by orally planning their writing. This can support more reluctant writers and lead to more effective outcomes.

This app allows you to use Augmented Reality to bring a dragon into class where you can interact with it to inspire some amazing writing.
