For all the #supporters! An extra idea on top of the blog looking at the new John Lewis advert
This looks at using the iPad to predict and infer by storyboarding screenshots from the advert. You can download the screenshots here. Please scroll back through to find the video on Airdrop if you need more guidance on that. This idea can be adapted to any type of storyboarding activity and even recounts and instructions. Let me know what you think 👍

Exclusive post for all the wonderful #supporters of the page!
I have made a quick video deconstructing the prologue as I think it’s a brilliant example of how to build an atmosphere and foreshadow through pathetic fallacy. Pathetic Fallacy is a technique where everything that surrounds the character personifies their mood. I would love to know what you think of this and whether you find it useful as I can start doing this with other texts like songs! To ensure you are getting the most from your subscription, I have brought Paul Tullock on board, a classroom teacher and ADE, who has some great ideas for supporting children of all abilities with technology. He will be creating weekly videos that will give you more ideas and inspiration to make the most from technology inn your school.
His first video looks at using the speech features to support children so they can access text. This is something I use a lot with my own children who have recently been tested as dyslexic. It has really helped them access more of the curriculum. Just a reminder to all the supporters of the page, once you sign up, you can access the Disney Villain Comprehension eBook and my four eBooks.
