VOCABULARY IDEA 2 - WORDMAP VISUAL THESAURUSHere's another great consumer app that can help children explore vocab by using this visual thesaurus. This is a paid app so if money is tight, it maybe worth downloading it on the teacher iPad and mirroring the results on your screen via airserver.

VOCABULARY IDEA 4 - HEADS UP TO DEVELOP TOPIC VOCABHere's another cracking idea to help children demonstrate their understanding of key vocab linked to specific topics/subjects. VOCABULARY IDEA 7 - CREATING OUR OWN WORD SPIDER DIAGRAMHere is another creative way for pupils to explore words and improve vocabulary. After using the visual thesaurus in idea 2, pupils can use the app popplet to create their own spider diagram exploring all the different elements of the word - synonyms, antonyms, roots, prefix/suffix and so much more.
